Exacta Box Odds Predictor
To make a Horse exacta box 1,
2, 3' (or whichever horses you selected). Most tracks offer a $1
minimum on boxed exactas, but some still require $2 minimums.
The exacta requires you to select the first two finishers in
order. Boxing lets your selections come in any order and still
win. The exacta usually offers higher pay-offs than win, place,
or show wagers. Also known at some tracks as the exactor or
perfecta, exactas are attractive betting propositions to many
players because of the potential for large payoffs. Exacta
wagering also offers an opportunity to make a good profit on
race in which a heavy favorite makes win betting a poor value
proposition.
The exacta was the first "exotic" bet at most racetracks and
today is the least exotic when compared to the trifecta,
superfecta, pick 3, pick 4, and pick 6 wagers.
Tips: The more horses you put in your box, the better chance you
have of cashing your ticket, but your ticket will also be more
expensive.
